The Roosevelt Public School Education Foundation (RPSEF) is pleased to offer this grant opportunity to the Roosevelt Public School (RPS) staff. This grant, made possible by the funds raised by RPSEF, must be used to fund a project and/or materials for Grades Pre-K to 5 that meets our mission statement: “to provide funding and other support so that the district can educate and inspire all students to do their best academically and to become independent and creative thinkers, skillful communicators, and lifelong learners.”
The primary mechanism for determining what programs and materials will benefit the students of RPS is the teacher grant application. Teachers describe material, programs, and/or training that they feel will enhance their student’s learning and submit a grant application outlining the needs to be addressed, objectives, plans for implementation, student participation, project evaluation and potential for sharing with other classes. The RPSEF teacher grant application and further information about criteria and review process can be found in the document posted below. Once submitted The Board of Trustees of RPSEF will evaluate the application and make selections.
