Dear Friends of our Roosevelt Community,
As we enter the new year, we are excited to share that our generous supporters donated a total of $2,935 to RPSEF in December for our End of Year Appeal. Our gracious matching donor rounded up to $3,000, yielding a remarkable total of $5,935 in donations!!!! Amazing! In addition to the End of Year Appeal, we are grateful for everyone who joined us during our Perkins Restaurant & Bakery fundraiser; we had a great turnout and earned $220! Also, within the last month $171 was raised through our Chocolate Bar Fundraiser. We thank you all for your continued contributions and support!
As we close out 2025, we reflect on the grant funded activities the children and staff have already enjoyed this school year. A positive school culture was embraced by transforming the lobby into a student-centered social and emotional learning center. Memorable field trips to Historic Village at Allaire, Jenkinson aquarium and several farms, brought class lessons into the larger community. The Young Audiences “Give and Take Jugglers” performance, which covered character education and physical education curriculum was reported by teachers to have been truly engaging for every child, “they were fascinated the entire time”.
The “Visiting Artist Program” (VAP) had a great start in 2025, the students experienced an opportunity to practice “breathing to sing” activities as well as acting, directing and screenwriting! We are excited for this program to continue through the school year, as it will bring in Roosevelt community artists to share their passion and knowledge of their craft with our students. Please view the bottom of our Events and Activities page for more information and updates regarding the VAP.
As we enter 2026, we will maintain our mission to provide RPS students with educational experiences that will follow them throughout their lives. Be sure to check our Facebook page for updates! These activities are all made possible through the generous donations and participation of our community. Thank you for your generosity and support towards RPSEF. We look forward to a wonderful 2026!
