OUR TOWN OUR SCHOOL

Roosevelt and RPS have long been defined by inventive thinking, a passion for learning, and creativity in many areas.  Generations of students have been active heirs of these traditions at RPS.  Roosevelt Public School Education Foundation (RPSEF) provides necessary resources to support our uniquely "Rooseveltian" institution.

wishing you a very happy holiday season!

Dear Friends of our Roosevelt Community,

We are wishing you all a joyous holiday season!  To close out 2025, we have two exciting announcements (view our Events & Fundraising page for more information):

  • A generous donor has pledged to match donations made by December 31st (up to $3,000), effectively doubling the impact of your generosity!

  • We will be hosting a fundraiser at Perkins in East Windsor on Friday 12/19!

Over the last year, your generosity has had a profound impact!  RPSEF was able to fund grants, bringing novel learning experiences to build upon the already stellar curriculum at RPS. Memorable field trips to Insectropolis, NJ State Theatre and the Historic Village at Allaire, brought class lessons into the larger community.  Assemblies like the SkyDome planetarium and Young Audiences Musiquita provided an opportunity for interactive learning. The Visiting Artist Program (VAP) allowed talented community members to teach their crafts in the classroom.  A positive school culture was embraced by transforming the lobby into a student-centered social and emotional learning center.

With your support, RPS students and teachers have flourished! In 2026, RPSEF will continue the mission to provide RPS students with educational experiences that will follow them throughout their lives.  We hope you will continue to support the efforts to enrich the lives of our students and empower the phenomenal teachers, who inspire a love for learning every day. Your gift can:

  • Create opportunities to learn outside of the classrooms through field trips and clubs including gardening and cooking, which offer tangible experiences to expand their knowledge into real life experiences.
  • Encourage creative expression by supporting opportunities to learn skills directly from talented artists and extracurricular club activities such as theater.
  • Empower student-driven initiatives through grant funded programs like the expansion of the Student Council program.

Please view our Facebook page and the websites  Grant Activities page  for more information on the VAP and other grant funded activities!

Donations can be made by clicking on the donate button above on this webpage or by mailing a check to RPSEF, P.O. Box 22, Roosevelt, NJ 08555.  If your company offers a matching contribution program, please notify us at rpsefdn@gmail.com.  RPSEF can help  ensure teachers have the resources needed to develop creative thinkers, skillful communicators and lifelong learners.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the RPS students, teachers, staff and the Roosevelt Public School Education Foundation community!
