Ready for fun learning opportunities in 2025!
Dear Friends of our Roosevelt Community,
We wish you all a very happy, healthy 2025!
As we enter the new year, we are excited to share that our generous supporters donated a total of $2,265 to RPSEF in December for our End of Year Appeal. Our gracious matching donor rounded up to $3,000, yielding a remarkable total of $5,265 in donations!!!! Amazing! We thank you all for your continued contributions and support!
As we close out 2024, we reflect on the grant funded activities the children and staff have already enjoyed this school year. The Kindergarten and 1st graders took a trip to Von Thun's Country Farm and Jenkinson’s Aquarium, while Pre-K enjoyed a trip to the Red Wagon farm. These students appreciated learning about crops as well as animals and their habitats.
The “Visiting Artist Program” (VAP) had a great start in 2024, the students experienced an opportunity to practice Tai Chi, learn sketching techniques and engage in clay work. We are excited for this program to continue through the school year, as it will bring in Roosevelt community artists to share their passion and knowledge of their craft with our students. As we enter 2025, we will maintain our mission to provide RPS students with educational experiences that will follow them throughout their lives. We have already approved grant requests for incredible activities throughout the rest of the school year, including a sky dome planetarium and a young audiences program "Musiquita". Be sure to check our Facebook page for updates! These activities are all made possible through the generous donations and participation of our community.
